Very old Jenny Lind stained wood-spindled day bed. Light blue checkerboard upholstered mattress with two matching backrest blocked pillows, one long lap pillow, and three additional throw pillows having various patterns of fabric in the same shade. Day bed dimensions: 76 ½? long by 30 ¾? wide by 28? high. Mattress is 19? high. The mattress support includes the original padded-fabric mattress frame. Under the mattress the original frame is augmented with plywood to facilitate the daybed functionality. Exact age of Jenny Lind day bed is unknown, but is believed to be circa mid-fifties. All fabric coverings have been eplaced and are in good condition with little to no wear apparent.
